North East Chocolates made its grand debut in 2008, but the popularity of the sweets shop quickly outpaced the small storefront it originally occupied in a neighboring town. Owner Sheila Stauffer moved into her current larger space and decided to focus on chocolates as opposed to the entire array of sweet treats.
If you want to give a sweet treat, try some of the delicious confections her team continues to make, stop in and grab a box or pre-order online for shipping or pickup. You’re encouraged to take advantage of the pre-order option because North East Chocolates does often sell out of fan favorites! For instance, its “fancy” chocolate dipped-strawberries coated with red-and-pink sprinkles and glitter can only be obtained by pre-order. The same goes for the classic dark chocolate-covered strawberries drizzled with while and milk chocolates. Want to get your special someone an assortment of treats? Order a heart-shaped box stuffed with sea salt caramels, hand-embellished truffles, or a mixed collection of bonbons. For an added flourish, order the chocolates in a swanky keepsake box.
