The Fourth of July Fireworks at Chateau Bu-De Winery & Vineyard promises an elevated alternative to your typical Independence Day bash. For one thing, it’s a ticketed event—so there will be crowd control and plenty of space for your lawn chairs or blankets. For another, the winery will be selling bottles of its own top-shelf vino to enjoy during the display!
The fireworks show actually takes place a few days before July 4th on Saturday, July 2nd, not far from our Chesapeake apartments. So you won’t have to worry if you overindulge in the delicious wine a bit since you still have half of your weekend to recover. Grab your $10 ticket online (one for each person, including children) and come to the winery around dusk on July 2nd. Allow some time to settle into your spot on the lawn at Bohemia Manor Farm and grab your food and drink. No outside refreshments will be allowed, but there will be plenty of beverages and bites on-site for guests of all ages. Sales end at 7:45 p.m. with the fireworks display kicking off at 8 p.m.
